BY GILBERT P. BAYORAN

Four more drug suspects were apprehended by the police in buy-bust operations in Negros Occidental that also yielded about P140,000 worth of suspected shabu.

Nabbed Wednesday in Brgy. Su-ay, Himamaylan City, were Jason Villanueva, Lendon Mahinay, and Chris Mark Tiña, all residents of the barangay.

Maj. Romeo Vargas, Himamaylan City police chief, said the arrest of the three yielded five grams of “shabu” worth P85,000, P500 in marked money, shabu paraphernalia, and a small notebook with drug transactions listed.

Roderick Chavez, alias Joaquin, was arrested in Purok Gomez, Brgy. 2, Silay City, and the operation yielded seven grams of suspected shabu, worth P47,600, P3,500 in buy-bust money, and P20 in cash.

The four are now locked up in jail.*
