Long line at CLMMRH explained
BY CARLA P. GOMEZ

The long line of outpatients at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital was caused by a screening process set up by the hospital amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Safety precautions have to be taken, Dr. Julius Drilon, CLMMRH chief, said.

Some of those with respiratory problems are referred to the Bacolod Respiratory Outpatient Center located at the Bacolod Arts, Youth and Sports Center, he said.

The surge in outpatients was noted with the resumption of public transportation under the General Community Quarantine.

He said the hospital has the capacity to handle 120 outpatients a day and about 55 percent are from Bacolod City.*
