P137K in shabu seized


About P137,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in two buy-bust operations in Bacolod City, Saturday.

Two persons classified as street-level individuals were collared at Eroreco in Barangay Mandalagan, Bacolod, at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Operatives of Station 2 caught Carlo Rasmo, 39, and Dennis Dumdum, alias “Pork”, 47, both of the barangay, with nine sachets of suspected shabu, weighing 15 grams and worth about P120,000, P500 in marked money, drug paraphernalia, and P290 in cash.

Meanwhile, a man was arrested for allegedly selling suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Purok Kaingin, Barangay Singcang-Airport in Bacolod, at about 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Station 8 policemen nabbed Freddie Denisa, 49, of the barangay, with five sachets of suspected shabu worth P17,000, and P1,000 in marked money, records show.

Denisa, Rasmo, and Dumdum may face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the police added.*
