annual convention

The Philsutech Board of Directors unanimously decided to cancel the holding of the 67th Philsutech Annual National Convention set August this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a press release said.

However, the annual general membership meeting will still push through on August 28 at 9:30 a.m. at the Philsutech Building in Bacolod City, in compliance with the requirement of the association’s Constitution and By-Laws and of the Securities and Exchange Commission.

“The incumbent elected officers shall hold and will remain in office and discharge their respective functions in a holdover capacity/authority, until their successors shall have been duly elected and qualified,” a Philsutech resolution stated.

The meeting will be conducted virtually, and members can register their attendance via proxy.

For more details, members may contact the Philsutech Secretariat at Telefax (034) 434-3013/4348127, Tel. No. (034) 434-1591 or email philsutech@gmail.com, the press release added.*
