Two cars caught fire in Bacolod City, Wednesday and yesterday.

A white Kia Rio Sedan was damaged when a fire broke out at the hood of the vehicle in Purok Kahirup A, Barangay Mansilingan in Bacolod, at about 7:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Renato Sano was driving the car, with plate number WLO 130, on his way home when it caught fire, Fire Officer 1 Ivan Labansauan, Bacolod Bureau of Fire Protection investigator, said.

Another car also caught fire at Circumferential Road in Barangay Montevista, Bacolod, at about 6:30 p.m. yesterday.

Charlotte Mae Juplo was driving the silver metallic Toyota Rush vehicle when the fog light at the passenger side of the vehicle caught fire, Labansauan said.*
