Ceneco rates slightly up in August
BY MARCHEL P. ESPINA

There was a slight increase in the residential rates of the Central Negros Electric Cooperative this month.

Maria Agnes Claro, officer-in-charge of the Office of the General Manager, said yesterday there was a difference of P0.0486 per kilowatt hour (kWh) in its residential rate this billing month, from last month’s rate of P10.5943 per kWh to P10.6429 per kWh.

Claro said the hike was attributed to the increase in the generation, transmission, and system loss charges.
