The Bankers’ Club of Negros Occidental Inc. is reminding its members to strictly implement the “no face shield and mask, no entry” policy.
In an advisory yesterday, the group said that allowing individuals, either employees or clients, to enter the banking premises without face shield and mask jeopardizes the health and safety of the employees of the establishment.
Further, it is a direct violation of government laws, and that non-compliance will result in temporary closure, it said.
“At this point in time, during the Covid-19 pandemic where we all deal with an unseen enemy, it is but prudent to treat everyone as a potential carrier of the virus. Hence, strict compliance with government regulations is being closely monitored by respective government agencies,” the group stressed.
Earlier, the BCNOI issued a Board resolution implementing the “no face shield and mask, no entry” policy starting August 17 due to the rising cases of Covid-19 in the province.*
