BY SHIELA G. GELERA

A minor reshuffling of police officers recently took place at the Bacolod City Police Office.

P/Capt. Leo Estopa, who finished his career-enhancement schooling, returned as chief of Police Station 2 covering numbered barangays 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 17 and 18, effective Wednesday.

Estopa succeeded P/Maj. Sherlock Gabana, who was transferred to the Administration Section at the BCPO headquarters, P/Lt. Col. Ariel Pico, BCPO public information officer, said yesterday.

Meanwhile, P/Lt. Col. Lester Leada is now the full time deputy city director for operations, Pico said.

P/Maj. Leo Logrono, who came from Camp Crame before his transfer to Police Regional Office-6, is assigned as the BCPO’s Operations Section head, Pico said.

Lt. Col. Levy Pangue is the deputy city director for administration, he added.

Meanwhile, Pico said that civilians who will visit the BCPO headquarters at Magsaysay Avenue in Bacolod for transactions are required to wear face masks and face shields starting today.

P/Col. Henry Biñas, BCPO director, directed the health protocol as intervention against the spread of coronavirus disease 2019, Pico said.

Since Friday, all police personnel were already required to wear face masks and face shields when entering the compound, he added.*
