4 nabbed for drugs


Four more drug suspects were arrested by the police in a series of buy-bust operations that yielded more than P68,000 worth of suspected shabu, Tuesday and yesterday, in Negros Occidental.

Eight grams of suspected shabu, with a street market value of P54,600, and P500 in marked money as well as a cellular phone were recovered yesterday by the police during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. 2, Silay City that resulted in the arrest of Ryan Cejlabo, 31, of Sitio Paradise, Brgy. Rizal in the city.

Another buy-bust operation in Brgy. Zone 3, Talisay City yesterday led to the arrest of David Marlo Dionggon, and the recovery of two grams of suspected shabu, worth P13,600, and P1,000 in marked money.

Two other drug suspects were also apprehended by the police in another operation in Brgy. Taloc, Bago City, Tuesday.

Teresa Dololoyas, 31, and Maricon dela Cruz, 49, both residents of Brgy. 30 in Bacolod City, were nabbed with two sachets of suspected shabu, P300 in marked money, a cellular phone, and P200 in cash believed to be proceeds from the sale of illegal drugs.

The four suspects are now in jail.*
