Turks Shawarma has permitted a franchise to Bacolod young entrepreneur, Wilson Noel Au, and his fiancée, Ella Sitchon, with its newest location at the Simplicio Palanca seaport terminal, Reclamation Area in Bacolod City.
It officially opened yesterday to serve passengers, who take the boats from Bacolod City to Iloilo City and vice versa, a press release said.
Au said that people love to eat Shawarma, with choices such as spicy beef or chicken, and regular Shawarma flavors. It is easy to eat because you can take it either rushing to your boat ride or in a leisurely manner.
Turks Shawarma costs P60 without cheese and P75 with cheese, the press release said.
Au said he is optimistic that his fledgling business will build up in time, given the substantial foot traffic at the port, the press release added.*
