Visual artists team up vs. plastic

Twenty-five visual artists from Negros and Iloilo have joined forces against the use of plastic in a group exhibit titled "B.O.G.N.A.W." that opened Saturday at the Balay Negrense Museum in Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Raymond Fuentes was the guest of honor at the opening of the show that will run until Dec. 3.
Jeck Alano said the show is a form of protest against plastic waste that they have started during their last exhibit, titled "PA.P.E.L.", at the Negros Museum in Bacolod City.
Aside from Alano, other participating visual artists are Leo Carton, Agustin Chavez, Bal Cerbo, Faith Ann Conlu, Rain Dumagat, Larry Dumagat, Jehru Elisan, Vic Fario, Paul Fortunado, Gabriel Gucaban, Jojo Hidalgo, J-R Ledesma, Madhu Liebshier, Luzviminio Malata, Steve Maquiling, Reymond Mo-oc, Tito Nobleza, Rusty Quiatchon, Zaldy Sendon, Michael Sernal, Annalyn Trespicio, Fred Orig, Ian Valladarez, and Edsie Valladarez.
