More than P300,000 worth of suspected shabu and its paraphernalia were seized by the police from six arrested suspects, including a minor, during the weekend in Negros Occidental.
Policemen arrested drug suspect Hector Pabon, 50, during a buy-bust operation on Sunday in Brgy. Mambulac Silay City, Negros Occidental.
The apprehension of Pabon yielded 20 grams of suspected shabu, with a street market value of P300,000, and its assorted paraphernalia, P500 in marked money and a cellular phone.
Two other drug suspects were also accounted for by the police on Sunday in separate buy-bust operations in Sagay City and Manapla,.
The apprehension of Junte Tatoy in Brgy. Punta Mesa, Manapla, also yielded six sachets of suspected shabu, with a market value of P3,500, and P500 in marked money.
Also nabbed for a similar violation in Brgy. Old Sagay, Sagay City, was Nestor Arquio, alias Among.
The arrest of Arquio also yielded three sachets of suspected shabu, with a market value of P1,500, and P500 in marked money.
Policemen also arrested a 14-year-old, whose identity is being withheld, at the Dr. Vicente Gustilo Memorial National High School in Brgy. Zone 2, Cadiz City, for having in his possession suspected dried marijuana leaves.
Another drug suspect identified as Jesus Rama Jr. was also apprehended in Brgy. Santa Rosario, Binalbagan on Saturday for a similar offense.
Three more sachets of suspected shabu and its paraphernalia, and P500 in buy-bust money, were also recovered from his possession by the police.
Four more sachets of suspected shabu and its paraphernalia, P75 in cash and a Honda Beat 110 motorcycle were also recovered by the police from Wilfredo Gonzales during his arrest, also on Saturday, in Hacienda Malaga, Brgy. Robles, La Castellana.*
