Around 30 exhibitors are expected to join the annual Negros Business Week of the Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry that will kick off today at Robinsons Place in Bacolod City.
MBCCI chief executive officer Frank Carbon said that the 12-day exposition, now on its 11 th year, is a venue for local government units to showcase investment opportunities and tourism destinations, and for small entrepreneurs to sell their products and have a chance to expand their market beyond the province.
“Our focus for this year is on creating opportunities for those in the rural areas”, by helping the farmers sell their raw materials that will be used for processed products that will be sold at the exposition, he said.
