In a privilege speech before the Senate yesterday, Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr., reiterated his strong reservations on the canvassing of the results of the vice presidential elections, on the basis of what he claimed were electoral irregularities.

He said netizens were able to capture footage and other evidence of cheating from different parts of the archipelago, citing among others SD ( secure digital ) memory cards found in a garbage dump in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.

City Election Officer Revo Sorbito had said earlier that all the SD cards of the Commission on Elections in Kabakalan City are accounted for, after three of them inadvertently ended up in the garbage.

A girl drowned while swimming in the beach in Barangay Tampi, San Jose, Negros Oriental, Sunday.

The victim Sayra Mae Rubia, 7, was a resident of San Jose town.

As reported by the Amigo Cops Negros Oriental Text Blast Project initial investigation disclosed that the victim together with her older sister were brought by their father David Rubia to the seashore in Brgy. Tampi, San Jose. The report said that the father left his children in the beach and went out to buy food.

Minor steals
motorcycle in Bais City

The Tanjay police operatives recovered an alleged carnapped motorcycle recently in Barangay Mabunao, Bais City in Negros Oriental.

The suspect, a minor, was brought to the Tanjay Police Station for initial custody and later on was turned over to Bais Police station for proper disposition.

Initial police investigation disclosed as told by the Amigo Cops NegOr Text Blast Project said that on May 20, at 8 a.m., was reported carapped by its owner Rowena Eramis in Brgy. Mabunao, Bais City.
