Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr. reiterated yesterday that the United Negros Alliance is willing to support a bid by Vice Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson of Love Negros for congressman of the first district of Negros Occidental, saying he would be a sure winner.

He also said that, as of now, UNA, which he chairs, is not fielding opponents against Rep. Alfredo Abelardo Benitez (Neg. Occ., 3 rd District) and Rep. Mercedes Alvarez (Neg. Occ., 6 th District) of Love Negros.
