Oil companies will roll back diesel prices by 40 centavos per ;iter and increase gas prices by 15 centavos per liter today.
Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation (PSPC), Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc, Seaoil Philippines Inc, PTT Philippines and Petron Corporation will lower diesel prices per liter by 40 centavos and hike gas prices per liter by 15 centavos.
Meanwhile, PSPC, Seaoil and Petron Corporation noted it will also decrease kerosene prices per liter by 80 centavos.

Verify illegal slaughtering
The National Meat Inspection Service has requested the assistance of the Bacolod City government in verifying reports of rampant illegal slaughtering in Bacolod City.
In a letter to Bacolod Mayor Monico Puentevella dated Nov. 21, 2014, its executive director Dr. Minda Manantan also requested the city to implement appropriate control measures to address the problem if the reports are found to be true.
Manantan said their request is due to the allegations of a concerned citizen that rampant illegal slaughtering is going on in Bacolod City.
DBP urges Capitol to join
money market for LGUs
The Development Bank of the Philippines yesterday urged the Negros Occidental provincial government to join its Unlad Pamahalaan money market fund.
It is a facility that will provide a safe source of higher income for LGUs, Rafael Coscolluela, provincial government consultant on investment promotions, trade and exports development, said.
“I think all LGUs should be interested in this, but it requires a minimum of P100 million, which city governments can afford because they have the income,” he said
