Security agency owner
shot dead in Guihulngan

A security agency co-owner based in Dumaguete City was shot dead while he was eating with his brother in an eatery at Plaridel Street, Barangay Poblacion, Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental at about 9:46 a.m. Tuesday.

Rodel Barillo, 37, single, co-owner of PMA Security Agency and a resident of Barangay Kagawasan in Guihulngan, was shot several times in the head by an unidentified male assailant, who fled after the incident, initial police investigation showed.

He was brought to the Gov. William Villegas Memorial Hospital in Guihulngan City but was pronounced dead on arrival by Dr Alain Go.

The security agency serves clients in Cebu City, Tanjay City, Dumaguete City, and San Carlos City.*
