‘Prepare quarantine pass slips’

The Liga ng mga Barangay has directed officials of all 61 barangays in Bacolod City to prepare for the issuance of quarantine pass slips for their constituents in case an enhanced community quarantine is implemented in the city.

Liga president and Councilor Lady Gles Gonzales-Pallen yesterday said the quarantine pass slip will be issued to one member per household to maintain social distancing to contain the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-18).

Pallen said she has informed all the barangay captains of the matter and they will have the format of the QPS approved by the Department of Interior and Local Government.

She said a QPS will be issued to only one member for purposes of buying food or other basic necessities, or to seek medical attention.

Pallen said they are just waiting for instructions about its distribution, as well as for additional guidelines from the city inter-agency task force (IATF).

She cited for example, that in her barangay in Taculing, they have about 10,000 households. So they will need to prepare 10,000 QPS.*
