Designer found dead

Friends of interior designer Raymond Rivilla Fuentes were in shock yesterday on hearing of his sudden death.

He was found dead at his home in Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City, yesterday of alleged natural causes as there appeared to be no foul play, a source said.

However, since he lived alone, his death was not discovered until about 10 days later, the source added.

The police reportedly accompanied a relative to his house after he had not been seen for several days, and had to break down a door to enter the house. His body was found lying on a bed.

On his Facebook page Fuentes wrote: “Interior Design is my profession. Cultural Heritage is my passion”.

Fuentes, who had also been a former part-time college instructor at La Consolacion College Bacolod, studied Interior Architecture and Design at Koelner Werkunstschule in Cologne, Germany.*
