DAR-6 addresses issues
on CARP implementation
BY MARCHEL P. ESPINA

The issues hounding the implementation of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program in Negros Occidental will be addressed, Sheila Enciso, director of the Department of Agrarian Reform in Western Visayas, said.

Enciso presided over a dialog with the agrarian reform beneficiaries in the province on Thursday to settle issues and concerns of the farmers with DAR over land acquisition and distribution, such as survey, field investigation, CLOA distribution, and installations.

“This dialog also aims to strengthen our ties with civil society organizations because we have to work hand in hand to achieve rural development and national industrialization, not only in Negros Occidental, but in the entire country,” Enciso said.
