UNO-R undergoes reaccreditation

 

The University of Negros Occidental–Recoletos in Bacolod City is undergoing the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU) reaccreditation yesterday and today, its press release said.

PAASCU will conduct a preliminary survey for the accreditation applications of Nursing and Social Work programs and for the interim visit for the Arts and Sciences, Elementary and Secondary Education, and Business Administration programs.

The team chairperson is Concepcion Rosales, consultant of the Ateneo de Manila University Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, who will assess the area of Administration. She is joined by Ma. Dreena del Mundo, former chairman of the Child Development and Education of Miriam College in Quezon City, in the area of faculty, and Joy Mabaylan as PAASCU representative.

The team was welcomed by the religious and lay administrators of UNO-Recoletos, led by Rev. Fr. Don Besana - university president, and Rev. Fr. William Villaflor, Recoletos de Bacolod house prior, the press release added.*
