The institution and competency-based trainings in the provincial government-run Negros Occidental Language and Information Technology Center was completed yesterday by 102 scholars .
Of the graduates, 51 completed the Nihongo Culture Course, 49 the Contact Center Services NC II, and two students from Japan completed the English l anguage p roficiency , Cristina Orbecido, NOLITC administrator, said.
The foreign students who completed the ELP course were Komei Nonaka and Kazuki Imanishi , who studied English at NOLITC for eight months , she added.
Governor Eugenio Lacson, in his message, delivered by e xecutive assistant Charina Magallanes-Tan , urged the graduates to show to the world not only their skills but their work ethics as well .
“Skills and hard work, coupled with work ethics, are your sure vehicles for success , " he added.
He also said the graduates are the flag bearers of NOLITC and they carry with them the name of Neg ros Occ idental.
Meanwhile, NOLITC is still offering scholarship s for residents of Negros Occidental o n the following courses : contact center services, software development training program, and for medical assistants. *
