complete NOPSSCEA 3-peat

NOPSSCEA Season 39 is grand slam year for the Lopue’s-La Salle women’s table tennis team after the squad completed a rare 3-peat championship at the VMA Global College Gym six days ago.

With former national team standout MarellLagunday taking charge of the team as coach in 2016 and LOPTTA president LeonitoLopue backing them up, the Lopue’s – La Salle women’s team has become formidable.

This year, despite a tough challenge from usual rivals, the La Sallians once again captured the championship for a third straight title.

Cayetano ready to face probe
on SEA Games controversies

Philippine SEA Games Organizing Committee (Phisgoc) chairman, House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano on Thursday said he is ready to face any investigation into the controversies surrounding the country's hosting of the 30th Southeast Asian Games.

"Hold me accountable. SEA Games Organizing Committee accountable. I won't hide. I would show up at the Senate, the Ombudsman," Cayetano said.

Cayetano noted that he would show up at any investigation on the issues hounding the SEA Games after the events are done.
