Christ the Redeemer
columbarium to open

The Christ the Redeemer Columbarium Complex in Bacolod City of the Teresa Development Corporation Funeral Services is expected to open in October next year.

This was confirmed yesterday by Mona Matti, TDC vice president for sales, who said the construction of the columbarium complex is expected to be completed in June or July next year.

She said the new facility inside the Rose Lawns Memorial Park in Barangay Bata, Bacolod City, has a cluster of niches with individual vaults that can secure six standard-sized urns.

During the meet and greet with the media and bloggers yesterday, the company also launched its blogging contest for its funeral services.

TDC chairman Ramon Lacson, who pioneered the memorial park business in Bacolod City, earlier said he decided to build the Columbarium Complex because it is much easier for families to part with their loved ones when they are cremated, it is more sanitary, and cheaper than selling memorial park lots.*
