Thirty-five exhibitors from Negros Occidental have joined this year’s Panublion Heritage Fair at SM City Iloilo that kicked off Wednesday, Rachel Nufable, head of the Department of Trade and Industry in Negros Occidental, said yesterday.
The five-day fair will run until November 17 and features a wide range of merchandise on home lifestyle, furnishing, wearables, wellness, food, and handloom textiles from the provinces of Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo, and Negros Occidental, she said.
For the province, the participating exhibitors are displaying coffee, cocoa, saba sticks, dried vegetables, and organic products at the Negros Occidental booth in the fair, she said.
She said the trade fair, anchored on the theme “We Create. We move. We lead”, is an annual activity initiated by DTI Western Visayas to promote the homegrown products of the six provinces .
Aside from the exhibit, there will be fashion presentations showcasing bags, handwoven products, and accessories from the six provinces, she said.*
