Incentives starting at 80 pushed


An ordinance instituting a ladderized scheme in the release of cash incentive benefitsfor centenarians amending City Ordinance 08-14-670 series of 2014 as amended by C.O. 09-16-789 series of 2016, was approved by the Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod Wednesday on final reading.

The ordinance authored by Councilor Archie Baribar said bona fide Filipino residents of Bacolod City who reach 80 up to 89 years old will receive an incentive of P10,000 while those who reach 90 up to 99 years old will receive another P10,000 at the time of the passage of this ordinance.

It said C.O. 08-14-670 or an “Ordinance Establishing the Centenarian Award to Qualified Citizen in the City of Bacolod,” granted cash incentive of P10,000 to Filipino residents of the city who reach the age of 100.

The Cash Incentive Benefit of Centenarians from P10,000 to P100,000amended C.O. 08-14-670 series of 2014.

It said the city government will provide 5 million in every annual budget for the implementation of the recently passed ordinance.*
