PNP seizes more shabu, 3 nabbed

Policemen seized about P116,500 worth of suspected shabu from three drug suspects, in separate buy-bust operations in Negros Occidental, Thursday.

The arrest of drug suspect Frederick James Piedad, 25, in Brgy. Mambulac, Silay City, yielded seven grams of suspected shabu, with street market value of P105,000.

Also seized during the buy bust operation were assorted shabu paraphernalia, a cellular phone, P500 in marked money and P220 in cash.

The police also confiscated about P10,000 worth of suspected shabu from Mark Douay on the same day at Bag-ong Dalan in Brgy. 13, Victorias City.

Also seized from Douay were two cellular phones, P400 in marked money, P450 in cash believed to be proceeds from sale of illegal drugs, and a Honda motorcycle.

Another buy-bust operation in Brgy. 2 poblacion, Sagay City, also resulted in the arrest of Art Mahilum, and the recovery of three sachets of suspected shabu, with a market value of P1,500, and P500 in marked money.*
