68 houses energized in Talisay

 

The Central Negros Electric Cooperative Talisay Field Office and the Talisay City government have partnered to energize 68 households at Nacab Village, Brgy. Bubog in the city recently, its press release said.

The switch-on ceremony was led by Mayor Neil Lizares, Vice Mayor Samuel Siote, Sangguniang Panlungsod members, Dr. Kiko Benitez, Brgy. Bubog Capt. Ricky Veraye, Ceneco TFO area manager Dennis Fernandez, and area engineer Richard Joseph Ea, and witnessed by the beneficiaries and residents of Nacab Village.

The electrification program in the sitio was funded by the Talisay City government. The project aims to provide electricity to far-flung areas, with assistance from Ceneco, whose goal is also geared toward sustainable rural development, the press release added.*
