DA offers loans to fresh
agriculture graduates

Fresh graduates of agriculture and agriculture-related courses can avail of loans from the Department of Agriculture to develop their farming project and innovations.

This is a new program implemented by the agency to encourage young people in farming, a press release from the DA said.

“We will encourage young students, graduating from college, to go back to the farms and use the technologies and knowledge that they learned. For them to go back, we will extend loans to them, production and equipment loans, and the things that they need to develop the farms of their parents,” DA Secretary Emmanuel Piñol said during the National Management Committee held in Nueva Valencia, Guimaras recently.
