Deliberations on kasambahay
wage increase March 27-29
BY MARCHEL P. ESPINA

Deliberations on the proposed salary increase for kasambahays in Western Visayas will be held in Bacolod City next week, Wennie Sancho, labor representative to the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board in the region, said.

The marathon deliberations will be on March 27 to 29, with 21 Restaurant as tentative venue, and he said he hopes that by the end of this month, the Board could finally decide on the proposal.

Under the proposal, the increase may either be P500 or P1,000 per month, Sancho, who is also the secretary-general of the General Alliance of Workers Association, said.
