Clearance processing resumes at NBI
BY CARLA P. GOMEZ

The National Bureau of Investigation in Bacolod City will resume clearance processing today, NBI-Bacolod head Renoir  Baldovino, said yesterday.

The NBI had been unable to issue clearances since Tuesday noon due to a server breakdown, he said .

Theyimmediately brought their machine that issues clearances to the NBI head office in Manila on Tuesday for updating and repair, he said.

It has been repaired and by today the NBI Bacolod will resume clearance processing, Baldovino added.

The NBI Bacolod processes about 350 clearances daily, he said.

An NBI clearance is an official assurance that one is not facing criminal cases in the Philippines.*
