The Provincial Highway Patrol Group of Negros Oriental nabbed a female suspect in an entrapment operation for falsification of the Land Transportation Office licenses for sale online in Brgy. Calindagan, Dumaguete City, at about 4:30 p.m. Friday.
The suspect was identified as Jonavie Talledo, 25, with known address in Barangay Calindagan, Dumaguete City.
HPG NegOr said the operation is against persons providing/making/issuing falsified LTO driver’s licenses at the 2nd Floor of Robinsons Mall, Brgy. Calindagan, Dumaguete City.
Recovered from the suspect were a plastic ID Card with LTO Drivers License No. F0618052318, an LTO Official Receipt No. 1554894723 dated December 20, 2018 for License No. F0618052318, an LTO Official Receipt No. 1554894729 dated December 20, 2018 for License No. G0612450573, one Samsung Galaxy J5, Model SM-J500H/DS with S/N: R51GA2N7B7Y, 19 P20 bills with different serial numbers, LBC Pouch-Regular with Tracking Number 126718144739, and LBC Receipt with Tracking Number 126734421996.
The plastic ID driver’s license and LTO Official Receipts were verified and certified not to be existing in the database of LTO Dumaguete District Office.
An HPG NegOr source said the suspect was informed of her Constitutional Rights in the language known and understood by her, and will be brought to the PHPT NegOr Office for proper disposition.
A complaint for violation of Art 172 (Falsification by private individual and use of falsified documents) and Art 315 (Swindling [Estafa]) of the Revised Penal Code (RPC) as amended under R.A. 10951 (The Revised Penal Code as Amended) will be filed against her, the HPG NegOr source said.
The entrapment operation was conducted by the Provincial Highway Patrol Team Negros Oriental led by PSINSP Silvestre Cenia Jr. with SPO2 Aurelio Lloren Bodo and PO3 Jerome Nochefranca Jr.*
