The Philippines’ leading home improvement and construction supply retailer, Wilcon Depot, yesterday opened its 52nd depot store nationwide, located at Panacan in Davao City, its press release said.
The company believes that putting up another store in Davao is an ideal choice after opening its first provincial branch at Matina, Davao in 2002.
It is a unique one-stop-shop destination, and accommodates thousands of local and international brands in the market, arranged in an organized and clutter-free manner inside an air-conditioned store. By maintaining its uniformity in the interior of its depot store, Wilcon makes its operations efficient to help the customers shop with ease, the press release said.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Wilcon EVP-Chief Financial Officer Mark Andrew Belo, SEVP-Chief Operating Officer and PRA President Rosemarie Bosch-Ong, United Architects of the Philippines national president Benjamin Panganiban Jr., suppliers and city government officials.
It offers a multitude of services that give customers convenient shopping experience, like free parking spaces, reliable delivery service, and tile cutting service, among others. They also provide a service that allows customers in creating their desired 3D layout through a computer software with a cost estimate and product list, made possible in the Design Hub section in the store. Valued customers can also avail of the Wilcon Loyalty Card for free and enjoy promo exclusives and offerings, the press release said.
Eight more stores in Opol, Cagayan De Oro, Sta. Barbara, Iloilo, Antipolo, Sto. Tomas, Batangas, Commonwealth, Calumpit, Bulacan, Tagum, Davao Del Norte, and Tuguegarao will open this year as part of its ongoing expansion in fulfilling its commitment to have a total of 67 operating stores by 2020, the press release added.*
