BCBC Warriors keep
No. 1 spot in duckpin tilt


The BCBC Warriors posted another impressive performance to stay up front in the 23rd Bowlers Club of Bacolod City Open Trio Duckpin Bowling Tournament 2019 at the Negros Super Lanes in Bacolod City.

With five more rounds to go in the elimination phase, the Edgar Jerez-managed Warriors now carry a total score of 5,083 pin falls after pumping 1,011 in the fifth outing.

Team Silverado/NPBC/NOHS Combined of Cecil Silverio and Steve Po continue to trail them with 5,032 pin falls.

ASSFBI Solid Strikers of Edgar Allain del Rosario on the other hand climbed from fifth to third overall with 4,978.

BCBC Bahala Na occupied the fourth spot with 4,920 followed by BCBC/WISS with 4,919.

The other teams with their corresponding output: Apollo Squad, 4,881; Centerline, 4,778; Color Ideas, 4,773; BCY Panthers, 4,718; PC/BGN, 4,644; Fireballs, 4,588, and BCBC Eagles, 4,532.

The Warriors still holds the team’s highest single with 394, while ASSFBI Strikers’ set a new record of 1,087 pin falls, eclipsing its old mark of 1,073.

In the individual contest, Edwin Monserate of BCBC Eagles and Fireballs mainstay Larry De La Cruz registered the highest pinning and single record with 97 and 163 pin falls. Warrior’s Victor Fontanilla keeps his record in triple with 408.
