Digong visits Barangay 16


Residents of Barangay 16 in Bacolod City got a surprise when President Rodrigo Duterte visited their area in the wee hours yesterday.

The president went to the area to look at road obstruction complaints reported to him that is already being fixed by the Department of Public Works and Highways, his former aide and now senatorial candidate Bong Go said on his Facebook page.

The president visited the barangay after attending the birthday of Leo Rey Yanson, chief executive officer of Vallacar Transit,  at L' Fisher Hotel in Bacolod, Saturday night.

Residents were happy to see the president, shake his hand and have selfies with him, said Go, who accompanied the president to Barangay 16.*
