NBI thanks media partners

The National Bureau of Investigation Dumaguete field office gave plaques of appreciation to media partners, who helped project the good image of the bureau, through fair and balanced reporting, Monday.

NBI Dumaguete chief, Jose Ermie Monsanto, awarded Neil Rio of FilProducts cable television, his cameraman, Butch Tepace, Roy Bustillo of CNN Philippines Dumaguete, and Juancho Gallarde of Bai Radio 96.7 FM and the Visayan DAILY STAR, “for their unfailing partnership with the agency which resulted in a ‘good year’ for the bureau in terms of accomplishments and achievements”.

The agency is also eyeing a satellite office in the northern part of the province, preferably in Guihulngan City, to cater to clients from Canlaon, Vallehermoso, Guihulngan, La Libertad and other neighboring towns.

It is also seeking the help of the provincial leadership for an open space where the NBI can build its own building.*
