The police seized a gun, magazine, ammunition and illegal drugs from a High-Value Target in Purok Sabes, Barangay Villamonte in Bacolod City, at about 12:30 p.m. yesterday.
Armed with a search warrant issued by Bacolod Regional Trial Court, Branch 50 Judge Estefanio Libutan Jr., the police swooped down on the house of Raymund Parcon, 32.
The search yielded a super .38 caliber Colt pistol, a magazine, seven live ammunition, three sachets of suspected shabu, a rolled paper with suspected marijuana leaves, several drugs paraphernalia, two cellular phones, and P15,350 in cash, police records show.
The police tagged Parcon as the suspect behind robbery hold-ups, selling of drugs, and carnapping incidents in Bacolod.
The arrest of Parcon was a joint operation of the Bacolod City Police Office, the Criminal Investigation Service, the Bacolod City Mobile Force Company, the Mobile Patrol Group, and Police Station 4.
Parcon is the brother of Rodel Parcon from whom about P1.2 million worth of suspected shabu was recovered in Barangay Villamonte on February 13, 2018.*
