Police join ‘Moment of Prayer’
BY SHIELA G. GELERA

Police officers in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental took a break from their daily grind and participated in the nationwide simultaneous Moment of Prayer at noon yesterday.

Both the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office and the Bacolod City Police Office joined in the crusade.

The activity is a simultaneous prayer for peace, through the PasaLord Prayer Movement, a private group who requested the office of the Philippine National Police chief Director General Oscar Albayalde, to have police officers join too.

Participants simultaneously prayed for blessings for their leaders and their country, that its citizens will be safe and will be protected from foreign invasion, terrorism and war.*
