Computer training benefits 20


Twenty persons underwent basic computer training at the Bacolod City Public Library at Araneta-Hernaez Streets in Bacolod City recently, a press release from the BCPL said.

The BCT-Batch 14 was also organized under the supervision of instructress and registered librarian Remia Quebrar.

After the evaluation of first module, the trainees elected among themselves the executive officers and directors, with Elena Goopio as president, Precy Macuroy – vice president, Rebecca Guirnela – secretary, Grace Litonjua – treasurer, Elnora Honoridez – auditor, Mary Jane Tormo – business manager, and Sameon Santiago as public information officer.

The members of the Board of Directors are Nelba Canoy, Jose Honoridez, Josie Perater, Menchie Bermudez, Patria Gerada, Benita Tangarorang, Marjorie Aquino, Cezar Cuizon, Nelia Cuizon, Charisma Esquilla, Corazon Estrebor, Haydee Norma Patoy, and Evangeline Ruso, the press release said.

Rhoderick Alipoon and Mike Baylon of Batch 5, and Luzminda Ledesma and Gladioluz Causing of Batch 10 also attended the course as refresher, the press release added.*
