Priming up for the tougher task ahead, Silverado/NPBC Team registered a game-high 1,053 pin falls in the ninth-round to grab the lead in the ongoing 23rd Bowlers Club of Bacolod City Open Trio Duckpin Bowling Tournament 2019 at the Negros Super Lanes in Bacolod City.

With one more outing remaining in the elimination round, the Cecil Silverio and Steve Po’s bowlers are now on top of the overall tally in the 13-team pack with 9,127 pin falls, 49 pins ahead over erstwhile leader BCBC/WISS of Bobby Yap with 9,078.

The top two squads will clash Feb.5 to decide which of them will grab the twice-to-beat advantage in the final showdown on Feb.12.

Both are confirmed finalists in the up-the-ladder championship.
