118TH CSC ANNIVERSARY
Barrio Fiesta at SC City Hall
It was a festive mood at the San Carlos City Hall on Friday last week.
It was because the city marked the 118th anniversary of the Civil Service Commission.
The event was part of the month-wide Civil Service Month in the country.
Departments in the City Hall were grouped into clusters for the celebration.
The clusters were led by the offices of the City Mayor, Sangguniang Panlungsod and City Administrator.
The City Hall lobby was decorated by employees to create the fiesta feel with various kiosks filled with various items.
Excitement was felt by employees as they tried to post big sales as their efforts – from selling to decorating kiosks – became a contest.
A highlight of the day was the ‘Salo-salo sa City Hall’ which allowed employees of different departments to bring food which they shared with each other following the thanksgiving mass held at the SP Session Hall.
The Office for Human Resource Management is facilitating the various activities, which kicked off on Sept. 1 with a fun walk and a Zumba party at the City Hall grounds.*
