‘Trabaho bill good
for entrepreneurs’
BY MARK L. GARCIA

President Ma. Alegria Sibal-Limjoco of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry said the second tax reform package, now called the "Tax Reform for Attracting Better and High-Quality Opportunities (Trabaho)", will be good for micro, small, and medium enterprises.

Limjoco said that with corporate income taxes lowered under the proposed package, PCCI sees an advantage for MSMEs as, with lower CIT, more entrepreneurs could surface and grow.

“We want MSMEs, especially those in the underground, to surface and expand their businesses and it might be easier for them with TRAIN 2," Limjoco told the DAILY STAR last week during the Philippine Franchising Association caravan in Bacolod City.
