Group seeks public apology
over ‘Sagay 9’ accusations

The Rebolusyonaryong Partido ng Manggagawa Pilipinas–Revolutionary Proletarian Army-Alex Boncayao Brigade yesterday demanded that Agrarian Reform Undersecretary David Erro issue a public apology for his “false accusations” that the RPA-ABB was behind the violent death of the nine sugar farmers last month in Brgy. Bulanon, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.

RPMP-RPA-ABB spokesperson, Victor Sumulong, in a statement he furnished the DAILY STAR, said Usec. Erro maliciously attacked their group, by implicating them in the attack against the victims, although he admitted that it was based on initial reports, which have yet to be validated.

The RPA-ABB has also been accused of being private goons. moremoremore
