Bacolod eyed as ‘ground zero’
for PH blockchain technology

Can local talents and fresh graduates keep up with the global demand of digitalization?

For executives of two IT companies based in Singapore and Manila, this would be possible if new innovations, like blockchain technology, are integrated to the academic institutions in Bacolod, to make the city a prime area for this digital innovation called the “software technology of the future”.

Both the Ethereum World and DynaQuest Technology Services chief executive officers said yesterday that blockchain will change the landscape of the Business Process Outsourcing industry in the future, and Bacolod should be the first in the country to prepare the new generation of programmers for what is ahead of them in terms of the global digitalization.
