Maraņon tells Vallador

Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon yesterday advised neophyte Police Inspector John Fritz Vallador to be a role model for the youth.

Vallador, of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, recently graduated . on top of the Philippine National Police Academy “ Maragtas” Class of 2018, among 106 graduates at Camp General Mariano Castaneda in Silang City.

He paid a courtesy call yesterday on Governor Marañon, who also congratulated him for a job well done. “Keep up the good work,” Marañon told Vallador.

Vallador, who is joining the elite Special Action Force of the PNP, received a house and lot in Bacolod City, through the effort of former Senate president Manuel Villar, whose family is engaged in the housing business.

Vallador spoke of his experience at the PNPA and his plans after graduation as well.

He narrated to Gov. Maranon how he lived through poverty in different cities of Negros Occidental, with his maternal grandparents and foster parents.

Vallador’s mother is working as a domestic helper in Spain.

He also received a cash incentive from Marañon.

Vallador and the 105 PNPA graduates have been appointed as police, jail and fire inspectors, which is equivalent to the rank of 2nd lieutenant in the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

Vallador said his training with SAF will soon start.*GPB
