The District Election Committee of the Central Negros Electric Cooperative proclaimed as winners all three unopposed candidates for seats in the Board of Ceneco for districts II, III and VII, Saturday.
Roel Venus, Ceneco Member-Consumers Integrated Services Division chief, yesterday said re-elected directors Jojit Yap (District III-Bacolod Central) and Dwight Carbon (District VII-Murcia and Salvador Benedicto) garnered 57 votes and 318 votes, respectively, while newly-elected director Beda Tumbos (District II - Bacolod South) got 567 votes.
Venus said District II has a total of 36,983 registered members, District III has 7,008, and District VII has 13,678.
The turnout of votes for District II was 1.53 percent, District III – 0.81 percent, and District VII – 2.32 percent, he said.
Venus said the Decom for District II was composed of Nilo Sorbito, May Bautista, Lani Boscas, and Pedro Crispe Jr., while the Decom for District III was chaired by Rhodora Lo, with Carmelita Tipon and Jennifer Flores as members.
He said the Decom for District VII was composed of Romeo Sabig, Mariolina Jalwin, and Belen Magbanua.*CGS
