Waste disposal
machine proposed

Officials of a US-based firm are proposing the use of the BlackHOLE waste disposal machine for the eradication of toxic hospital waste and other garbage in Negros Occidental, Yves Akol, PDP Laban-Negros secretary general, said yesterday.

Akol accompanied TeslaGreen officials Frank Macapagal and Gerry Tiongson who met with Gov. Alfredo Marañon at the Capitol yesterday.

Their technology will solve waste management problems in the world, Macapagal said.

The BlackHOLE does not use electricity or fuel, it uses plasma heat technology, he said.

The technology does not need waste segregation, avoids land filling and dump yards, its cost is low and it is environmentally friendly, Macapagal added.*CPG
