Pump prices to rise anew

 

MANILA - Another rise in pump prices will take effect at 6 a.m. today, local oil firms announced yesterday.

They said the adjustment reflects the movement of prices in the international petroleum market.

Jetti, Total, Phoenix, and PTT Philippines will increase prices of diesel by P0.30/liter, and gasoline by P0.50/liter.

Unioil will also implement a price hike of P0.30/liter for Euro 5 diesel, and P0.50/liter for Euro 5 gasoline 91, 95, and 97.

Eastern Petroleum will raise prices of diesel by P0.30/liter, and unleaded and premium gasoline by P0.50/liter.

Seaoil and Shell have announced a price hike of P0.50/liter for gasoline, P0.30/liter for diesel, and P0.80 for kerosene.

Likewise, Caltex will implement increases in its platinum and silver pump prices by P0.50/liter, diesel by P0.30/liter, and kerosene by P0.80/liter.

Meanwhile, Petron will have its price hike effective 6:01 a.m. today: P0.50/liter for gasoline, P0.30/liter for diesel, and P0.80/liter for kerosene.*PNA
