No brownout in Tanjay

The National Grid Corp. of the Philippines has cancelled the scheduled power service interruption tomorrow in Pamplona, Tanjay City, and Amlan, all in Negros Oriental.

NGCP will not interrupt the power in the Tanjay substation, following the request of the Perpetual Help Community Cooperative that will hold their first chapter assembly on that day, its press release said.

NGCP will only isolate the line section Tanjay to Guihulngan 69kV transmission line by opening the ABS after the Tanjay substation so that they can conduct maintenance activity in other scheduled areas, the press release added.*
