More infra to fuel growth

Link bridges, tourism, the airport upgrade and renewable energy are among the things that will make Bacolod grow, Presidential Assistant for the Visayas Secretary Michael Dino said as he urged its people to help the local government to continue building on what the city has accomplished for the past 80 years.

Dino, who was the guest speaker at the 80 th charter anniversary of Bacolod City at L’Fisher Hotel in behalf of Special Assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go, said Bacolod has come a long way from being a sleepy town of sugar plantations to an economic powerhouse in the Visayas.

He said the government’s Build, Build, Build program will completely change the city’s landscape and skyline as more infrastructures are built. moremoremore
